Sanders-Clyde Elementary won a $25,000 award from the U.S. Department of Education for its honorable mention as a “Distinguished Title I School for Overall Achievement.” Sanders-Clyde is the only Lowcountry school to receive the award, which is part of the National Title I Distinguished Schools Recognition Program under No Child Left Behind.

No one indivdual is ever able to develop the right vision, communicate it to a large number of people,eliminate all obstacles, generate short-term wins, lead and manage dozens of change projects, and anchor new approaches deep in an organization's change.
