Spelling Bee winner Malaysia Gallashaw will be heading to the Charleston County Spelling Bee as the champion of Sanders Clyde Creative Arts School. 1st runner up was Janiyah Blunt and Kierra Wellington was the 2nd runner up. Congratulations to all of our spelling bee contestants.

Sanders-Clyde received holiday donations from Charleston Hope. Charleston Hope is a non-profit organization set out to restore hope to the next generation by serving the Title 1 schools and communities of Charleston. During the holiday season, Charleston Hope collects gifts which are distributed to students at different Title 1 schools. Our students truly appreciated this act of generosity.
Sanders-Clyde 5th graders performed Jingle Bell Jukebox...The Flip Side for 2 large crowds, putting everyone in the holiday spirit. The acting, choreography, and singing came together to make the performance very special. Thank you theater teacher, Mr. Atkins, dance teacher, Ms. Haygood, music teacher, Mr. Frazier, and our art teacher, Ms. Warfuel for supporting our students in this learning experience.
